Dadsforlife is a movement by the former prison Deputy Director / Chief of Staff Mr Jason Wong. Jason has been married to Donna for 21 years. They have 2 children, Sarah 19 and Samuel 14. Jason became passionate about the cause of family and fatherhood after working many years as a prison officer, and with abused children and youths at risk. Used by God to start the Yellow Ribbon Project in 2004 and the Dads for Life movement, Jason is presently serving as a volunteer in Focus on the Family as the Board Chairman. He is also a director on the board of the Centre for Fathering.
Dadsforlife are primarily formed in schools by volunteers with the blessing of the school principal.
Government organisations like MSF https://www.msf.gov.sg/, CDC https://www.cdc.gov.sg/Office-of-the-Mayors/Our-Mayors - and the schools can be brought in to contribute to the funding registered to organise these activities.
SowDads seeks to be a one-stop event organiser to support Dadsforlife(DFL) all over Singapore to organise monthly events and provide a payment gateway, safety risk assessment and budgeting management. Volunteers can then concentrate on bringing the kids out for a memorable bonding day.
SowDads will assist the committees to organise outdoor and indoor activities that suit all requirements.
